Dr. Amir Mousavian is the Associate Dean and Professor of Supply Chain Management in the ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓÆµâ€™s College of Business. A recognized leader in supply chain systems, operations research, and energy market analysis, Dr. Mousavian brings over 15 years of academic, research, and industry expertise.

He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University, an MBA in Strategic Management from Malek Ashtar University of Technology, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

Prior to joining ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓÆµ, Dr. Mousavian served in key leadership roles at Clarkson University, including Director of Assessment & Accreditations, Director of the Engineering & Management Program, and the David Spatz ’68 Endowed Chair. His research spans supply chain of energy, cyber-physical system operations, and energy market resilience, with numerous publications in high-impact journals such as IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and European Journal of Operational Research.

An award-winning educator and researcher, Dr. Mousavian has been honored with the Distinguished Research Award, Outstanding Teaching Award, and multiple competitive research grants. His expertise has been featured by CNBC, CNN, Mainebiz, CBC, and other national and international outlets, offering insights on global trade, tariffs, and supply chain disruptions.

At ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓÆµ, he is leading initiatives to develop new academic programs, including an online MBA and doctoral program in management, while mentoring students in supply chain strategy, project management, and global sourcing.
