On move-in day, Class of 2021 begins their ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ journey

ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ Class of 2021

Student volunteers, athletes and alumni turned out to help the ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ’s newest Nor’easters settle in to their new homes on August 27, 2017.

New students and their families had plenty of help, with the largest move-in day volunteer base in ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ’s history. For the third year, students participated in the Storm the Front volunteer program. In addition to resident assistants and orientation leaders, there were 82 student volunteers. ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ athlete also pitched in, including members of the women and men’s soccer, volleyball, golf, women’s rugby and hockey teams.

Move-in was followed by the First Night event on the lawn of the Alfond Forum with a 90's themed dance party where students celebrated their first day on campus with President James Herbert, who also took part in the festivities.
